This comprehensive SHSAT Test Prep course is designed to prepare students for the English Language Arts (ELA) and Math sections of the SHSAT. The course features a structured schedule of in-depth lessons, practice problems, and five full-length practice tests that simulate the actual test experience. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with practice tests on selected Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During the fall, classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a total of 75 hours of instruction.

This SHSAT prep course focuses on:

● Critical ELA and Math Concepts: Building a strong foundation in the core topics covered on the SHSAT, with lessons aligned to New York State Learning Standards.

● Test-Taking Strategies: Teaching proven methods for answering multiple-choice and grid-in questions efficiently, helping students manage their time effectively during the test.

● Skill Reinforcement: Identifying individual student weaknesses and targeting these areas through personalized feedback, practice problems, and in-class exercises.

● Full-Length Practice Tests: Simulating the actual SHSAT testing environment to help students get comfortable with the format and pacing of the exam while tracking progress over time.
