INTRO TO HIGH SCHOOL TESTS
Intro to High School Tests is a ten-week class for students in 6th and 7th grade who are just beginning to think about high school admissions. In a relaxed, supportive setting, students get to know the three exams that open doors to New York’s top high schools, the SHSAT, the TACHS, and the HSPT, while strengthening the core reading, writing, and math skills they share. The class opens with a diagnostic that highlights each student’s strengths and areas to build on, so families understand exactly where their child is starting. It’s the calm, confident first step that prepares your child for what’s ahead, while building the reading, writing, and math skills that support success in school every day.

Starting early gives your child time to build the skills, confidence, and familiarity they need before high school admissions become a source of pressure. This class introduces students to the SHSAT, TACHS, and HSPT in a relaxed, supportive environment while strengthening the reading, writing, and math skills they will need for future testing and success in school.

Classes are held in person, and tuition includes all course materials and full access to online tools. Tuition is fully refundable up to two weeks before the course start date.
