Description
Students will gain hands-on guidance through the Common Application process, reduce stress and confusion, and leave with meaningful progress already completed. The workshop will help students strengthen their activity descriptions by learning how to better present their extracurricular activities, volunteer work, leadership roles, sports, jobs, clubs, and other experiences on the Common Application. Instead of using vague descriptions, students will learn how to clearly communicate their responsibilities, leadership, accomplishments, and impact so colleges better understand the value of their involvement and the skills they developed. Students will also brainstorm ideas for a compelling personal essay and build a clear action plan for completing their applications with confidence.
