A focused prep course for students beginning their SAT journey, SAT Essentials is a 16-hour course designed for students who want a clear, supportive, and structured approach to mastering the test, whether they’re just starting or looking to build a stronger foundation. Over the course of eight 2-hour sessions, students receive targeted instruction in the key areas of the Digital SAT, along with two full-length timed practice tests to reinforce learning and measure growth.

In the Reading & Writing section, students learn how to tackle common question types such as illustrating the claim, transition word usage, and interpreting clauses and bulleted notes. Instruction focuses on identifying patterns, eliminating distractors, and mastering the grammar and reasoning skills most frequently tested.

In the Math section, students explore the full range of SAT math topics, with an emphasis on Desmos calculator strategies, problem solving, and question interpretation. Lessons include foundational concepts in algebra, advanced math, problem solving and data analysis, geometry, and trigonometry.

Each session blends strategy, skill-building, and guided practice, allowing students to build confidence and make steady progress.
