Friends Together Program
Sign up with a friend or two to create your own private small group, and every student in the group receives $15 off from the regular tutoring rate.
We provide one-on-one and small group private tutoring for all of our available subjects. The cost for private tutoring varies depending upon the subject and number of students. Our tutors assist students from elementary school through high school in subjects including ELA, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Students can enroll in a small group package as soon as July if they want to get a jump start on a challenging class that they will be starting in the fall, or if they are concerned about learning loss as a result of online schooling. All materials as well as practice tests are included.
We recommend that you take advantage of our special small group discount through our Friends Together Program. The program was created to allow students to enroll in small private tutoring sessions so that they can share the cost with other students but still receive high-quality tutoring. Students participating in the small group must be studying the same subject and topic. Each child enrolled will benefit by getting $15 off the going private tutoring session rate. The class schedule would be determined by the participating parents along with a Tutoring By Christine staff member.
We’re happy to offer these discounts and we hope many of you can take advantage of them. If you’re interested in participating in the Friends Together Program but don’t know how to contact other parents with children taking the same subject as your child, try our Facebook or Instagram links to connect online. Simply reach out in the comments area and ask who’s interested in joining a small private tutoring class to take advantage of the Friends Together Program Discount.
Does tutoring really help?
By having a good tutor help your child master the basics of difficult subjects, your child will have an easier time following along in class. In the long run, your child will be able to understand more advanced material because their basics are strong. And as an added bonus, their grades will improve with time.
Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. Tutoring gives students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This helps children who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough.
What is ELA tutoring?
Students who take the time to perfect their English language skills in high school are a step ahead when they start college. Our ELA tutors help students polish their writing and reading comprehension skills to prepare for application essays and college courses.
What is Math tutoring?
A math tutor will be able to quickly identify problems, build your child’s skill set, and even talk with you about the ways in which you can reinforce these concepts at home. Together, you’ll both work to improve your child’s grades.
What is Science tutoring?
A science tutor helps students in their academic pursuit of science. Our private tutoring explains basic and advanced concepts in areas like chemistry, biology, or physics. The complexity and course material depends on the school and what areas your child need the most help in.
What is Social Studies and History tutoring?
Memorizing dates, names, countries, and battles can make social studies and history classes very challenging for students. Yet, this is a vital part of many social studies curricula, so in order to succeed, students must learn to master these skills. Social studies and history tutoring can help students learn tricks that make memorizing this necessary information easier while simultaneously helping them develop the reasoning and critical thinking skills required to apply this information.
